Intellectual activities

Ideal for when you want more besides your studies!

Every Tuesday we organize an intellectual evening programme where prominent and emerging journalists, scientists, politicians and business people come to talk about international and socially relevant topics. There is always room for clarifying questions and critical discussions. The form of an evening programme varies from lectures to panel discussions, and from debates to film lectures.

Examples of speakers include: historian Maarten van Rossem, NRC Editor-in-Chief Peter Vandermeersch and Amnesty director Eduard Nazarski.

In addition, we have a Committee of Intellectual Activities that organizes an activity every month. With this committee we have visited, among other things a recording of the talk show Pauw and a former prison.
